March 21 // Betrayal hurts.

Read Matthew 26:21 out loud with your family.

Ask the following question and discuss the answer together as a family.

Q: What would you do if you knew someone was going to betray you?

Parent Note: With that kind of knowledge, our first instinct often is to do something to stop the person from causing any harm to us. Jesus knew of the coming betrayal, but He did nothing because He knew that God would use all of the terrible things that were about to occur to make something wonderful happen.

Read the following prayer out loud. Have your kids repeat after you:

Dear Lord, thank You for loving me.
You knew every sin I would ever commit, but You still saved me.
Help me to repent from sin and turn to You.
We ask these things in Jesus' name, Amen.
