June 24 // God wants us to come to Him.

Read Luke 11:5-8 out loud with your family.

Ask the following question and discuss the answer together as a family.

Q: Why did the neighbor in the story give his friend bread?

Parent Note: Because he asked! God is a good Father, and He wants us to know we can come to Him and ask Him for anything. He may not always answer in the way that we expect, but His answer is always the best.

Pray this out loud together:

Our Father in Heaven, we worship you because you are so powerful and strong and there is no one else like You.
We thank You for providing everything we need and we ask that You continue to take care of us and provide for us because we are Your precious children.
Please forgive us for our sins and help us to forgive others.
We pray this all in Jesus’ name, Amen.
