Read Acts 9:9 out loud with your family.
Ask the following question and discuss the answer together as a family.
Q: Have you ever been unable to do something and needed help from others?
Parent Note: Saul was in the middle of nowhere, blind, and unable to find his way to safety and shelter. This once able man now needed to depend on others to help him. Such experiences are often humbling.
Read the following prayer out loud. Have your kids repeat after you:
Dear God, thank You for changing Paul’s heart.
I know that You use all things, good and bad, to bring us closer to You.
Please teach me to be humble and depend on You.
We pray this in Jesus’ name, Amen.
