November 30 // Eyes to see.

Read Acts 9:8 out loud with your family.

Ask the following question and discuss the answer together as a family.

Q: Could you give an accurate description of what a dinosaur really looked like?

Parent Note: No one has ever actually seen a real live dinosaur. Every image we've ever seen is based on best guesses and imagination. Our imagination allows us to see things without using our eyes. Using his eyes, Saul was able to see everything around him. The Christians he was persecuting were talking about Jesus and how He had saved the world, but Saul couldn't see the truth in their message. When Saul was blinded, he finally saw God and the truth that Jesus was the Messiah and his Savior.

Read the following prayer out loud. Have your kids repeat after you:

Dear God, thank You for saving Paul.
You can use anyone to accomplish Your plan.
Please use me like You used Paul to carry out Your will.
We pray this in Jesus’ name, Amen.
